Paper Sculptor

ABOUT
I create 3D paper wall sculptures using geometric patterns, focusing on the relationship between light, shadow, repetition, and the medium's versatility. Influenced by my love of architecture, design, and geometry, I explore balance, structure, and geometric rhythm. I aim for bold, eye-catching designs that harmonize pattern, symmetry, and form, with a particular appreciation for black, white, and the power of negative space.

I often begin with a grid to organize my ideas visually, identifying repeating patterns to create 2D designs. My process is instinctive, with each piece leading naturally to the next. I then transform these 2D designs into 3D forms using software, before cutting, scoring, folding, and gluing each piece by hand. Though time-intensive, this process is both rewarding and therapeutic.
